Welcome to the Dumfries Free Church website.
We are a warm and family-friendly congregation in the south-west of Scotland.
We join together each week to praise God and to deepen our relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ during our Sunday services at 11am and 6pm. We also have a midweek prayer meeting and Bible study every Wednesday at 7.00pm. You are most welcome to come along and find out more.

I am a Canadian Presbyterian. I will be in the village of Thornhill just to the north of Dumfries from September 6th to the 11th. I am interested in attending either or both of your services on the Sunday. Where is your church in relation to the bus station?
Hi Alex, Its not far from the bus station, 2 minute walk, just walk up Buccleuch Street and turn left onto George Street at the “Barbours at Home” shop, you will see the church opposite you down the ramp to the carpark, stay on the street and enter through the upper doors. Looking forward to having you worshipping with us this coming Lord’s Day.
Greetings in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I wish to thank everyone at Dumfries Free Church for their hospitality and fellowship from when I came to worship on the last Lord’s Day. I do thank William Kenyon for communicating with me in advance. I thank Robert and Jack for taking me to the Covenanter memorial service. I do thank the ladies of the Kirk for the lunch and tea. I came to obtain some “wee free fire” and I received more than I expected. I am back in Grande Prairie Alberta Canada with my family. Should I come to Dumfries area again I will be sure to visit you again. God bless.
